Swifttrade is a private proprietary trading firms that trades in the US stock market through ECN's. I felt very fortunate to be able to undergo in its 6 months training. Although the training does not include any allowance, still for me being there is incredible. Philippines is 12 hourse ahead in the US, so I had to worked and trade in the evening till morning because thats is the trading hours of US. At Swifttrade, what you will learn is how to scalp the market and my head trader asked us to make at least 50 trades a day. At first I found it very hard because the capital they allocated to me only is 20$. Sometimes it will only take me less than an hour to trade and my whole 20$ is wiped out. Then eventually I realized that what I really need to learn now is how to control my trades and be patient.
I never forget the time when I finished the whole US trading session with over 120 trades, although my account was still wiped out during that day, I still felt very good and proud of myself for accomplishing more than 120 trades with 20$ in one day. My head trader was also surprised on that performance.
